SCREENS
What are screens ?
Also know as a silkscreen, the screen is what we use to actually stencil the ink onto the shirts. It is a rectangular frame with a special polyester fabric stretched over it very tightly. The fabric is coated with a photographic material that creates the printing stencil.
Do you save my screens ?
We make thousands of screens every year, and if we saved them all, we would need a huge warehouse for them. The cost to image a screen is a fraction of the cost of building it, so we reclaim and reuse them.
Do I own my screens ?
When you pay a screen charge, it is to image a screen, not for the screen itself. We can sell you the screens needed to do your job, but very few people will print the same image more than the 5-7 times it would take to make this pay off. If you think you will be re-printing your designs on a regular basis, we can fill you in on money saving options.
Can I supply my own screens ?
The short answer is maybe, but probably not. Our system is made for the screens we use, and your screens probably will not work in our system.
